Meet Katherine Christensen, MA, LPC
Hi, I’m Katie!
I work with children, adolescents, and adults and believe that therapy is a collaborative experience built on trust, authenticity, and compassion. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to strengthen your resilience, recognize your inner power, and reconnect with the person you want to be.
For many, life can feel uncertain and overwhelming. It’s difficult to admit when you no longer recognize the person staring back at you in the mirror or when life has left you feeling like a shell of your former self. You may find yourself questioning whether you’re a good friend, partner, parent, child, student, or employee. Therapy offers an opportunity to regain a sense of control, find meaning in past experiences, and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding. I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs and goals, helping you navigate life’s challenges while providing practical tools to increase resilience and distress tolerance. I am experienced in supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, career stress, childhood trauma, intimate partner violence, life transitions, and transracial adoption.
